Refund Policy

1. Policy Overview

At Ryteway Medical Coding Academy, we strive to maintain complete transparency in our fees, schedules, and policies. Since our training programs involve dedicated batch seating, allocation of online LMS portal keys, distribution of study manuals, and dedicated instructional hours, we handle cancellations and refunds on a case-by-case basis as detailed below.

2. Cancellation Prior to Class Commencement

If an enrolled candidate requests to cancel their admission before the official batch schedule begins:

  • Request within 7 Days of Enrolment: A full refund of the course tuition fee is issued, minus a standard administrative processing charge of 10% or ₹2,000 (whichever is lower).
  • Request after 7 Days of Enrolment: If the request is raised after 7 days from transaction but before the start of classes, a 75% refund of the course tuition component is eligible.
  • No refund requests are accepted if submitted less than 48 hours before the scheduled batch launch.

3. Withdrawal After Batch Commencement

To cover instructor costs and batch seat allocation, refunds requested after your classes have commenced are subject to time-based limitations:

  • Withdrawal within the First Week (Days 1–7): Up to 50% of the tuition fee component is refundable.
  • Withdrawal after the First Week (Day 8 onwards): No refunds are issued under any circumstances.

4. Non-Refundable Components

Certain registration items represent immediate expenses and are completely non-refundable once distributed or configured:

  • Standard admission registration charges.
  • Costs of physical study books, study guides, and diagnostic coding manuals (CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS) once handed over.
  • Personal license fees for access keys to medical billing practice tools and EHR simulators.
  • Government taxes (such as GST) paid during the transaction.

5. Flexible Deferrals & Batch Transfers

We understand that personal emergencies, health issues, or academic pressures can impact class schedules. Instead of withdrawing completely, we encourage students to apply for our flexible Batch Deferral option. Enrolled students can pause their studies and transfer their registration to a subsequent batch within six (6) months from the freeze date. There are no additional fees for batch transfers raised due to documented medical or family emergencies.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Once an official refund application is submitted and approved by Ryteway accounts department, processing will complete within ten to fourteen (10–14) business days. Refunds will be credited directly to the bank account, card, or digital wallet utilized to make the original payment.

7. How to Apply

All cancellations, withdrawals, and batch transfer requests must be formally requested in writing. You must email your application along with fee receipts and a brief statement of reason to:
