Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering as a student, purchasing a course package, or using the educational services of Ryteway Medical Coding Academy ("Ryteway," "we," or "us"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any statement herein, please do not complete your enrolment or access our online/offline training materials.

2. Eligibility & Admissions

Admissions to Ryteway courses are subject to educational screening:

• Candidates must have a degree or diploma in Life Science or Allied Health streams (such as Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Bio-Chemistry, Pharmacy, Nursing, Physiotherapy, or Medical Laboratory Technology).
• Enrolled candidates must submit copy proofs of their academic degrees, government photo identification, and passport-size photographs during final registration.
• Ryteway reserves the right to cancel any student admission without fee compensation if it is discovered that false qualification certificates were submitted during the intake process.

3. Class Attendance & Code of Conduct

To maintain standard training quality and placement readiness, the following regulations apply:

• Attendance: Students enrolled in Live Online or Offline classes must maintain a minimum of 85% attendance. Frequent unexplained absences may delay mock evaluations and suspend placement referrals.
• Online Decorum: During online sessions, candidates must maintain respectful communication, keep microphones muted unless called upon, and use the text chat solely for educational discussions.
• Offline Decorum: Students attending physical classroom batches must respect the academy's infrastructure, adhere to timings, and maintain code-compliance behavior with instructors and peers. Disruption of training classes may result in direct batch suspension.

4. Intellectual Property & Study Tools

All training assets, materials, systems, and platforms utilized during your program are protected intellectual property:

• Training Materials: Handouts, reference guidebooks, mock tests, presentation slides, and recorded video lectures are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial education only.
• Restrictions: Recording live classes via third-party capture software, distributing lecture footage, sharing portal credentials, or reproducing Ryteway coding case studies online is strictly prohibited and subject to legal action.
• Software Tools: Access to our practice EHR simulators, diagnostic encoders, and billing dashboards is limited strictly to the active duration of your enrolled program.

5. External Exam Bookings & Fees

Ryteway prepares students for industry certifications (such as the AAPC CPC/CRC or AHIMA CCS exams). However, official examination booking fees, AAPC/AHIMA membership subscriptions, and diagnostic coding manual costs are set by the respective US credentialing bodies and must be paid by the student directly. Ryteway does not collect, control, or take responsibility for changes in external exam fees, scheduling updates, or exam cancellations made by AAPC or AHIMA.

6. Placement Assistance Guidelines

Ryteway offers 100% placement support to qualified graduates under the following conditions:

• Candidates must complete all modules of their program, clear the internal diagnostic mock evaluation tests with a minimum score of 70%, and attend HR-led resume and mock interview sessions.
• While Ryteway provides direct placement referrals and coordinates interviews, actual employment offers depend entirely on the candidate's performance during corporate evaluation rounds and compliance checks.
• Candidates must cooperate with the placement cell by updating their profiles, arriving on time for interview calls, and reporting offer letters transparently. Refusing multiple reasonable job offers without valid reasons may lead to suspension of placement support.

7. Disclaimers & Limits of Liability

Although Ryteway delivers training aligned with official AAPC and AHIMA guidelines, we do not guarantee that any student will pass the certification exam on their first attempt, as test success is reliant on personal study time, focus, and examination performance. Ryteway's total legal liability for any dispute arising out of training delivery or placement facilitation will not exceed the total course fees actually paid by the student to Ryteway.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of Ryteway's services, payments, or placement cell operations will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
